As the Lord said to Joshua,

"Be strong and of good courage; be not frightened, neither be dismayed; for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

(Joshua 1:8)

starting up a fellowship group at work

Pray and ask God for someone else to pray with.

The meeting of a fellowship group at work should be seen as an activity carefully designed to meet the purpose and vision.

Firstly check out a Vision God gives you as a group for instance:

A spiritually transformed workplace where there is a passion for God and compassion for the co- workers.

Secondly ask the purpose of the local fellowship for instance:

To glorify God by connecting co- workers together, both Christian and Not Yet Believers, and have meaningful biblical fellowship, discussion, study and prayer in order to equip and encourage the members of the group.

The leader’s responsibility is to handle the Word of God properly (2 Tim. 2:15), and to help make the study of it a positive experience. It is the Holy Spirit who takes that seed, planted in a person’s mind, and causes it to grow so that it will bear much fruit.
